Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
MissedCall→Client ("we", "us") provides a missed-call text-back service to local service businesses ("Clients"). This policy explains what information we process, why, and the choices you have. It covers our website (missedcalltoclient.com) and our messaging service operated on behalf of Clients.
1. Information we collect
- If you call or text one of our Clients: your phone number, the time and status of your call, the content of SMS messages you exchange with the Client's number, and delivery metadata for those messages.
- If you are a Client: business details you provide during onboarding (business name, owner name, contact phone and email, services, service areas, hours), account credentials, and billing records.
- Website visitors: we do not use advertising trackers on this site. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent) may be retained briefly for security.
2. How we use information
- To deliver the service: detect missed calls, send the text-back message, carry on the conversation you initiate, and alert the business so they can call you back;
- To generate activity reports for the Client whose number you called;
- To maintain compliance records (for example, an audit log showing that a text was sent in response to your call, and a record of opt-outs);
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Parts of the SMS conversation are generated by an automated AI assistant acting on the Client's behalf. It is configured to gather information about your service request only.
3. When we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- With the Client you contacted — your number, messages, and the AI's summary of your request are visible to the business you called;
- Service providers that process data on our instructions: telecommunications carriers and messaging providers (e.g., Twilio), cloud hosting (Cloudflare), and email delivery (Resend) for reports;
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Retention
Conversation and lead records are retained while the related Client account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period (or earlier on a Client's written request). Opt-out records are retained indefinitely, as required to honor your choice. Compliance audit logs are retained for up to five years.
5. Your choices and rights
- Text STOP to any of our numbers to stop messages from that business permanently (text START to resume);
- Email us at hello@missedcalltoclient.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We honor applicable rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, where applicable, the GDPR;
- We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. Webhook traffic from our telephony provider is cryptographically verified. No system is perfectly secure; we notify affected parties of breaches as required by law.
7. Children
The service is intended for business communications and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
8. International processing
We are based in Pakistan and use infrastructure located in the United States and other regions. By using the service you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence, protected by the safeguards described here.
9. Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date. Questions or requests: hello@missedcalltoclient.com.
